Hi!

I was looking for a free newsletter function for vB 3.6 but couldn't find one. Then I was thinking the vBadvanced CMS has already the "recent thread" module which includes all information I need in the newsletter:
- newest threads
- author, date
- link to thread
- short summary (in the hover text)
- apply forum permission

So it should only be a small step to allow the admin to send out daily/weekly summaries of this to all users via email..?

Anyone interested in programming?

Cant RSS be used then? Fetch RSS to email and set the email to send the rss to user..
Not much knowledge to say something like this because I am not a coder myself..
just a suggestion..would like to know if this is possible.

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
