Need Suggestion For pick right Dedicated Server · **Released**: 12-04-2007

I need to pick between 2 servers and need a idea what would be best for now till I can get a second server to run site in 2 servers.
my choices are :

A. dual xeon 2.4 ghz
2gb DDR
250 gb SATA2

B.Core2Quad
Core2Quad Q6600 2.4GHZ FSB1066 8MB CACHE
4gb DDR2 RAM
500GB SATA2

my site get up to 1000 members at peak time .

any suggestion ?

My vote goes for Core2Quad Q6600 as this is the best processor and we have got the best performance on it so far.

Also if its the same price with #2 you get 2GB more ram, which will help a ton keeping loads down (virtual ram sucks cpu like no tomorrow)

yes is the same price and I pick the server option B was a good deal so I may get another one more for my second site.
