Hi Folks,
I am hoping someone here will be able to assist me in correcting an error which I have caused using the plugin system. I have been using the plugin system to include a dynamic header and footer, pulling it in from the main site and including them into the templates using a variable for each. The problem is due to an error in my paths (and due to the code within an external reference) the page spits out an file not found error, but not in the conventional sense, where it would output the error at the top of the page and continue to load the forum. The code simply stops rendering the page. Obviously because of this when I attempt to log in to the admincp, it is unable to process the log in. Unfortunately I am unable to give a link to the forum (which I know isn't helpful) However the main question I have is where in the DB is the information stored for the plugins, so i can manually remove/edit the plugin that is causing the error. Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Gavin Weeks |

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); |

Thank you for your fast reply
However I am already aware of exactly what is causing the problem, it being a plugin I have created. |

Then disable plugins from your config.php and resolve the issue.

Pretty simple fix really, at least i can get back into the admincp and remove the plugin.
Cheers --------------- Added [DATE]1196768574[/DATE] at [TIME]1196768574[/TIME] --------------- Ok have tried this suggestion, it has half worked, allows me to now view to forum, however if I try to go deeper than the forum homepage it repeats the error, and same applies when I attempt to login to the admincp. Any suggestions? |
