Greetings!
I'm trying to remove just one forum from appearing in the "New Posts" function. I know about the search.php?do=getnew&exclude=xx function, however certain people like having this forum there, and others do not.

What I'm trying to do is have a profile field in the User CP that allows the user to select (Yes or No) if they want to view this forum via the "New Posts" function. I've been playing with this for a few days and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Can anyone lead me forward or link a guide that could assist me with this?

The only thing I could do for this was I installed the mod that allows u to exclude forums your view completly. This prevents them from showing up on new posts also.

Hrm, that's not quite what I'm looking for. Any other ideas?
