Thats why I stated before that the board will be needed to be changed. Remember anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.

I just checked the files....
the chess.php is the file that determines general information for wins loses...I think moving patterns :/ but not sure, stil might have to edit that to make shogi  the product xml file is the thing that determines at least the board stats, etc :/

Well the xml is to install it so you might need to edit that.

First just try to fix up the PHP file to the game specs and then worry about the XML later.
