Knew it had to be a Southerner: Pork BBQ!!

Personally, I'd add the gallery images above the explanation of the forum -- and I'd display tempting FOOD, first (what gets to a guy's stomach...ah...heart more?).

And green text on a red background for the navbar is too contrasting. Make the background a BBQ red color, and add yellow text to give the firepit look, too.

Theme needs to show the average Joe what you're really about, no quess work, all show.

I"m a true southerner so I can definitely appreciate GOOD BBQ. People laugh that I'm so picky about it but there IS a big difference between BBQ and good BBQ. So far, I haven't found any decent BBQ here in San Diego. It just isn't comparing to what we had in Tennessee and Florida.

Anyhoo, back to topic I don't have much constructive advice to give, because I think your site looks great. Nice colors, easy on the eyes, everything goes together very nicely, good icons that fit your theme, great content, site seems busy. So, you get an A, in my book. Nice job

Thanks for the nice words. As for BBQ in California, I'm pretty sure that the Southern Food Association (OK...I made that up) has put a ban on exporting ANYTHING to CA .
