I don't understand the question. You can't add a user via ftp. There is a file in the "Do Not Upload" folder that will allow you to change a registered user to an Admin - I think that is your tools.php file. You will need to add that via ftp, then register a new user, use the tools file to change that user to an admin, and then you can go from there. Is that what you were wondering about?

Sorry for not expaining. Someone has hacked my VB and changes my password. This is the second time it has happend. When I said user, I meant admin. Is there not a way of adding yourself as a super admin to an ftp file? Thanks for your reply so far/:up: |

You can edit your 'includes/config.php' file to specify yourself as being uneditable - so your User Details (Password, etc.) cannot be changed through the AdminCP.
