As mentioned in the Fader Hack thread, Pef will not be working on this hack in the near future. This hack was written for the beta versions of 2.0 and does not work correctly with the final. There are issues with javascript. This hack needs to be re-written for the final.

Umm... why is it working with my 2.0.1 then? I can turn it off in the User CP, and it won't display and if I turn it on, it will display; it works. Just to make sure, are we talking about the news fader hack?

In my testing of the hack - it does work. However it also interferes with other javascripts, including the PM popup. In otherwords, PM Popup doesn't work when you're running News Fader.
It also interfered with a non-vB javascript menu program that I run on my site. New Fader needs to be re-written so it is compatible with other javascripts. |
