Well, recently I have experienced some technical difficulties. The problem is when I'm in the AdminCP I may go and edit something and then when I go down and click save rather then saving it and having it go back to the normal screen a white screen comes up and nothing is being saved. Sadly, it's a pretty big problem because it's not allowing me to do much. Now is something that can be done so this is fixed or am I screwed?

Add the following on a new line in your /includes/config.php file:
Code:
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); |

Does it matter where I place it?

No, as long as it's own a new line by itself inside the <?php and ?> tags.

I've added it and it doesn't seem to be doing a thing.

OK, you could try uploading a fresh set of vB Package files.

Have you changed modems/ISPs or any other network aspect of your system recently?

No, I've been running on the same IP address/ISP for the last five years or so. I don't believe that has anything to do with it considering this problem has never been one before. And I've done work with many vB's before, which is saying something.
I uploaded a fresh set of the vB files and it still didn't do anything. |
