I have a fairly active board (Approaching 7 Million posts between the three boards), and I have come to the decision to split the two boards into three boards. But the problem I have now is that I have a number of forums/threads going on in the first board that I would like to transfer to the third board. I have all three now installed/patched/hacked to the way that I was them. All three are registered and paid for. But now I come to the difficulty of transferring select forums/threads to the third board. I also have to add that the third board has been running now for about a month and there are forum/threads active in that board that I need to maintain.

I've looked at ImpEX in a test environment and there are two issues with that. One is that it's locking up currently importing the users (Haven't diagnosed the issues yet), and two it looks like ImpEX will import the entire board and not give me the option to select which forums I want to transfer.

Does anyone have any thoughts/processes in place to accomplish this task.

Thank you in advance.

ImpEx will always do the entire board. An option might be to import into a test board, remove everything you do not want to transfer, and then transfer from the testboard to the third board.

Funny enough that's the option that we were already considering, but I was hoping that there another option, maybe another application that might help us out. Right now I'm first playing with doing the transfer of the threads myself manually with a number of queries.
