hello,

First of all i have to warn you about Siteground never work with them they are not hosting sites they are stealing money.. And also i experienced the same problem they want about $50 for your db backup, they suspended my site because of heavy traffic, about 15-20 person in the same time and they reject to refund..

Anyway first go to your cpanel ---> mysql databases (create a new db called bckup) ---> phpmyadmin then select your db, go to operations and copy your existing db to bckup..

then open bckup click export, select all tables and at the bottom of the page tick save as then go..

The reason why i said you to create a new db and copy your existing db to backup is, if you try to download existind db it keeps corrupting db and premature ends..

I have worked with more than 7-8 hosting comp and siteground is the worst. Never work with them..
