I believe the solution lies in this:
The hyperlink (forwarded url) and the place that I need the stats to be could be completely independent. So long as I know which page they are both on there must be a way to insert the code that can look where I want it to look and display the dynamic variables. I'm basically talking that in it's most basic way possible, I could go on each page and manually insert the code. Therefore, I could put a link for google, but if I put code next to it that will display the result of the code "last poster in forum f=13, and last subject in forum f=13", then this will appear. So instead of putting a link to google I would just have the forum link to forum 13. Maybe no one has done this before. I just thought that because there are so many vBs out there that some people would have done something on it (in a less manual way than above) But I think that the description above shows the idea how it could be done even if it is a less convenient way :erm: Maybe I put this in the wrong forum, I just saw the description to this one as Quote:
thx for trying to help |
