Hi, I'd like to get my forum reviewed.

We just moved from MyBB to vBulletin today so I still have a lot to do/skins to make/mods to install/everything else I can't remember.

But tell me what you think so far. And I'd be cool if you joined since you're all admins.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think your forum looks rather dull at a firts glance. The colors lack any kind of luster, and almost looks out-of-the-boxish.

It took time for me to read through your different forums and their descriptions to even get an idea of what your forum is about........ If I were a perspective member, you would have lost me, and on down the list of google I would have went until I found something that really caught my interest.

I think your forums are listed nicely, to the point, not too many but not too few. Nice.

I know, we will soon have our own custom theme.

How did it take you time to know what my forum is about? It is a forum for webmasters and administrators. I even said that in the first post.

Yes, you said in your post what it was about...... I was letting you know my first opinion of your board. There was nothing much there to guide me or catch my eye, there was nothing there while I spent my first few seconds on your page that told me much.

So you say it's a forum for webmasters and administrators in your post....... But what does your site offer to webmasters and administrators? There was no header on your home/forum page to give a sentence or two of an introduction, so I can only assume by reading through your forums list and their descriptions..... get what I'm saying? I'm trying to give you the insight of maybe someone browsing by your forum, or a new member... that's all. I am by far, no expert.

most of your forum descriptions contain words like "discuss"... looks like we already know that when we go on a forum.. the wording needs a little tweak!

The ideal situation would be to post your link and not have to describe it. You could figure out what the site was about once you are viewing it.

If I was a guest coming to your site from the SERPS, I would have no idea what it's about.

Unless you have an already booming community, you have to think...what sets your board apart from the already 1000's of boards just like yours. Why should people come to your forum? What's so great about your site?

How could you not know what my site is about from going to it? All you have to do is read one forum's name and you'll figure it out. Not much different from a lot of other sites. And I'd like to see the 1000's of boards that are for webmasters and administrators just like mine. I try a lot but I can't seem to find any.

hum, actually, RC Attacker, you're not ready to read the reviews you ask for... maybe you need to take a moment and think of the reasons why you asked for reviews...

if it is just to let us know about your site, that can be good... but your attitude toward negative comments is a proof that you do not deserve to be reviewed.

if you want us to tell you that your site is magnificient and the best place on earth for us webmasters and admins, the only opinion you will have from us is that you are wrong... just that.

I would like to hear your reviews but some of them I am not understanding. So I am asking for a more elaborate answer. Such as how can you not tell that it is a webmaster/admin forum from looking at it?

I know I need to add a new theme - we have only been on vBulletin for 3 days now so I'm working on that and a lot of other things. But I still don't understand how it is not clear that it is a forum for webmasters and administrators.
