well the conditional worked fine in the forumhome_lastpostby template. but doesnt want to work in the threadbit template.
i found the code to take out the userid(name under the thread title, and the code for the users name in the last post column. i can remove the code and the username disappears, but when i wrap it with the conditional it doesnt work. |

wow! thanks a lot for answering my questions.
this helps a bunch, ive done a lot of work to get a classifieds forum set up the way id like it. didnt really wanna buy anything because most are over done for my needs. i set the forum permissions for no posting. i installed the form hack that sends it there and put the link up. i excluded the profile and all references to the member. so now all i need to do is find a way to add one, maybe two search criteria to vb's existing search fucntion.....region and maybe category. |
