Could use some help - GD problems

Hey all
I just moved our Forums to a new server a few weeks ago and just about everything seemed to go smoothly. But then I discovered that some of the features that use GD aren't working properly.

When switching to the new server I left the versions of MySql, PHP and vB the same to make things easy but I did go through a clean install of MySql and PHP. So my setup is:
Mysql 4.0.24-nt
PHP 4.3.11 (with GD 2.0.28)
vB 3.5.4
On a Windows 2003 server

I have thumbnail attachments enabled and everything works fine with them (Stored in a directory). And the security image during registration is working fine also. But later I found out that vbGarage which I added when we were using the old server was no longer allowing pictures to be attached. It looks like it is creating the files but with 0 bits. And I discovered the same thing is happening with my advertisement software I added (Openads) when we were using the old server. Whenever I add a banner it's supposed to copy the banner to the correct directory and name it appropriately but it's only creating a file with 0 bits in the correct directory.

I'm currently guessing that this issue is related to my install of PHP (and GD) but after going over it twice, I can't see what is setup wrong (or even different from the old server's setup).

I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions or leads on what might be causing these problems. It's got me completely stumped at this point.

I've re-downloaded and replaced the GD library (thinking the file might be corrupt) but there is no change. I'm guessing that there is some setting in the PHP config that I've setup wrong but I can't imagine what it could be.

Help is still appreciated.

Hmm are you using GD or GD2? Try upgrading to GD2 if you can.

GD 2.0.28
Same version I was running on the previous server.
