I've recently moved over from using MKPortal on my old IPB forum and was loving the way their news module used TinyMCE as it's WYSIWYG editor. It had some brilliant functions, particularly when it came to uploading, resizing and aligning images.
I'm basically wondering if a) there is any way to make TinyMCE the vBulletin editor of choice or b) if there is a hack out there that would change the attchments system so users (possibly of a certain usergroup only, but not necessary) could not only upload images but they could also chose from all the other images previously uploaded to the specified folder aswell as set the size and alignment of the image in the post. Otherwise I'm really stumped when it comes to getting my news to display the way I want without making contributors upload their images onto their own servers first (specially as many of them are quite illiterate with technology). |
