How do i keep unregistered users viewing forum posts?

Go to your Forum Permissions (Admin CP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions) and then you can select the Unregistered Usergroup and say No to the permissions you don't want to give them.

I wouldn't do that unless you DON'T want search bots to index you.
