Does it matter what type of skin I have? If so, I am using this:

I really just want to know how to change the color of links. They look too close to the color of my text, and I want to change that, thanks.

Which links? The header links (ie. User CP) or hyperlinks?

hyperlinks. sorta like the link I have in my original post that is currently blue.

This would be changed by access the CSS, via Style $ Templates > All Style Options.
