Hi,

I have the shoutbox installed on my gaming clan's forum. It is a great hack and the most popular one I have installed to date. Meaning there have been 140,000 shouts in 74 days, which to me is really good. The problem I am having is that ppl are just signing up to use the shoutbox and are totally ignoring the rest of the forum.

What I would like to see is at minimum a user group restriction, so that ppl who are in the 'users awaiting email confirmation' group would at least have to confirm their email before posting a shout.

What I would LOVE to see is a system similar to the hack where you can't post URLs in a thread unless you meet a minimum post count of lets say 5, but could be modified via adminCP. So this way someone would get a message saying 'you need at least X amount of posts to post a shoutbox message'. Something like this.

Either of these would be great to me, and I'm guessing some other forums that might be in the same boat.

Shoutbox 2.1 made by zero tolerance has this.
