How do restrict members to 18 and over?

Hi all,

As the subject says, I want to restrict new registration to 18 and over. Although people can lie and tick some sort of box that says "I confirm i am 18 and over", legally it does cover my arse.

Although my forum is not an adult sight, there are alot of adult themed jokes, pics and banter. Therefore, i am concerned its not for childrens eyes.

what would be the best way of achieveing this. I do not want to moderate new members.
