Create new thread using C#

I want to create a new thread using .Net framework. I was looking for examples but only see php samples.

It's posible to do that?

I think that this forum is limited to discussions on vBulletin...

But, to answer your question, you can create a thread in C# as follows:

using System; 
using System.Threading; 

Thread t = new Thread(new ThreadStart(ThreadProc));
t.Start();

Where ThreadProc is the name of the static function that the thread will execute.

, that's a bit more complex..

In that case he will need to use MySQL's OLE DB Provider. It is easier to do it in PHP.

... that's already done: www.communityserver.org .....

And they do charge a pretty penny for it. $400 for Small Business, and $2000 for the Pro version. And then there is a bunch of add-ons costing some more.

Not surprising. Anything built to run on a M$ platform is overpriced. I mean, if you can drop $1000 for the OS, you must be loaded enough to drop half that for a forum package eh?
