Default HDI make a thread a link?

Don't be confused! I am not trying to put a link in a thread. I want the thread to redirect to a url when it is clicked on in a section. I can make a forum into a link, but I can't seem to find anything like this in the admincp or in documentation. Every search I do comes up with removing redirects and making a forum into a link. Please help!

Thanks for responding. I don't want a forum to link, I want a thread because I want users looking for information in that section to click on the thread. If I do this as a forum, it shows up as a forum and takes up space on the main page. Our site is a branch of other members from another site, and we used to create FAQ threads with information for a specific video game title in it's section. On our new site, we are using WikiMedia for this instead of vBulletin, and until I get it fully integrated with vB, I wanted users looking for that info to have the option to click on a stickied thread that redirects to the wiki article. I also plan to use this for other things to make it easier for our users and save us time having to respond to obvious questions. I have seen it in other vB forums, so I know it is possible.

Could you post a link to the other forums where you've seen this?

Not from memory, but I will try and find somewhere. Is that really necessary? I mean, it has to be something relatively simple!

Necessary - I would state helpful in the least being that what you ask for is not an out of the box feature of vB.... As well, searching produces other posts with the same unanswered request...

Further, I will never understand why giving an attitude to those offering assistance is logical.

...or being passive agressive. I wasn't giving attitude, I just didn't think it was complicated enough to show somewhere that has it. I will be happy to find it though if it would be helpful. I searched for it for two days before making this thread, and as I stated, the search results only turned up threads about removing redirects or making forums into links. I also tried variations, and eventually gave up.

Btw, thanks for your help!
