Hi,

How do I automatically log users into VB?

I have an existing site with a login (not PHP based) and want users to use VB without having to enter a second username and password.

I have already been able to add records to the user table in the vBulletin database and write some of the cookies that seem to be needed (bbuserid, bbpassword etc.). However a login is still prompted. I'm guessing its something to do thei the cookie sessionhash. If it is does anyone know what's stored in sessionhash so that I can create it myself?

Any help, pointers welcomed.

This is kind of an important thing, I can't believe there aren't any solutions to this.

I too have gotten as far as using the vbsetcookie function to set the cookies, but I can't figure out how to get it to automatically log in to the forum.

There must be an auto login hack out there!!

You would have to modify vb huge if it's non php.

If they register twice with login and pass the same make to cooking for all the domain and it will have them loged in every where.

This is exactly what I need to do... Has anyone found a solution to this, it's only 4 years later now haha! Surely enough time?

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
