Additional Navbar in 3.6.5

How can i add another navbar in 3.6.5 ? I used this hack in 3.0 which did the job, but i haven't been able to find any for vb 3.6.5. That hack has instructions for 3.5 though, but it didnt work and just messed up the page layout.
