My kids love playing the 360 on the HDTV 1080p that we recently purchased.

Which is why I asked about the HDMI ... Gears Of War and Carbon looks outstanding without HDMI (analog); I can just imagine how it will look like with a digital connection (HDMI).

I don't think there is any difference other than a HDMI has audio and video all in one, is there? If so, my 1080P will rawk also.

I mean I have 3 things hooked up w/ HDMI right now anyhow

We love Xbox360 video games and prolly pick up the Wii soon when it's more readily available. Not too interested in PS3 since it's graphics aren't really any better than the Xbox.

HDMI - data is sent digitally; while all others are analog (lost data)

They've ruined Sonic with all the additions to the cast over the years, the story line, and the fact that more than half the stages in the game are based around finding certain hidden items or walking through a stage with a robot and shooting anything that comes your way. In other words the games are boring and the story is not worth sitting through, Sonic was much better off before he could talk...although in my youth I did enjoy his saturday morning cartoon.
The portable versions are still AAA. Sonic Advance (#'s 1-3. For GBA) and Sonic Rush (DS)

They're side scrollers though.

With how deep Microsoft is entrenched with HDCP compliance, I doubt you'll see an HDMI output on the XBOX360 anytime soon.

As far as I can tell, the only way to get an HDMI output is by using the HD-DVD player. And even then, that's only for HD-DVD content. You cannot stream games through the player.

You can be thankful you aren't an owner of the Sega 32x .

Besides...all it is a hard drive upgrade and a new case color. The HDMI port is nice but it's mainly just a DRM lock-in...in other words you aren't missing much.
