I need a little bit of assistance on this one please

What I need to do is to write a script that will post a thread to a given forum with the date as the subject. Then, I need to set up the script to run at a specific time each day using cron.

Is it possible? If it is possible, can someone help out please?

Sure, it can be done;

Look into newthread.php for further details what actions need to be made.
