Weird problem - Downloads stop at 2mb mark
A lot of my members on my forum www.stepinthezone.com/forum have been having download issues. They are reporting that any file they download from the forum stops at the 2mb mark. They can play the file, in this case an audio file, however it's not the right size, only partial size.
I cannot duplicate this error on my machines. I've switched forum styles twice and this error still happens. Many members have been reporting this problem. I've tried to get them to retrace their steps to see what can be causing it and I've had no clue. This happens on both firefox and ie, according to the users. |

your server have fixed the PHP upload to 2Mb... you will have to ask your host to change that... it is not vBulletin related.

This happens with downloads, not uploads. I've adjusted the upload size to a 30mb. But the downloads stop at the 2mb mark.

Please create a file named phpinfo.php with the following content, upload it to your server and provide us with the URL to it.
PHP Code:

I would start by raising the "max_execution_time" in your php.ini.

Is the current value there of '30' is seconds or milliseconds? What should I raise it to, what does this setting do?

Thanks. What that's correct format? "max_execution_time = 120"?
Alright, I adjusted it, if this doesn't work what else should I try? |
