how do i change images?

hi,

i have a really modifyed templeate that i modiyed and i want to change the images of like the New posts old posts and locked on the forum home how do i do that

like the images are white boxs and turn blue when there are new posts
but i download images of blue orbs how do i change it to the blue orbs?

The images are located:

/forums/images/statusicon

forum_link.gif
forum_new.gif
forum_new_lock.gif
forum_old.gif
forum_old_lock.gif

Custom styles installed may point to a different location for the "statusicon" images.

AdminCP => Styles & Templates -> Select style
- Image Paths
-- Item Status Icon Folder
This folder contains all the icons representing the status of forums, threads, posts etc.

thanks do i just overrite them? i have vbadvanced so it won't mess up anything?

Well you always have the original vBulletin script.
It will have all of the images in case you wish to go back.

Yes if you overwrite the image files the new images should show up in their place.
- Make sure and use the same file names.
