Style:Reboot is a web-design and development community. It only launched a week or 2 ago so it's really not been around for long at all.

I just want opinions on the skin, forum categories etc... basically just what you think about the forum.

Skin looks fantastic, one of the best I've seen posted here on VB.org. Congrats.

There are only a couple little things that are minor, but I would've done differently. One is the reflection underneath the menu options (Home, Gallery...). It tends to throw off the text for me. I would've made them lighter. Also, I've never been a fan of image signatures, especially when using postbit instead of postbit_legacy. Too many horizontal things confuses people (or just me!). So I would discourage image signatures.

Otherwise things look great I intend on signing up, I'll be sure to mention if I catch anything else.

That is a excellent skin

The logo is perfect, simple and well tailored to the site. The gradient really works well in this area. Your choice of an image also fits well and gives the site a logo that stands out. Great job.

Some of the images are very light and almost impossible for me to see. (noavatar.gif and forum_old.gif). This may be by design as the forum_new is probably darker to draw the visitors eye.

The Welcome message is stock and could use a bit of customisation, if only to drop a keyword or two there.

The buttons are a bright blue and do not seem to fit with the colors in the rest of the style (newthread.gif). Having these match the gradient in the title bars would make them match and look better.

In the gallery I am getting a missing image to the top left of the login area (http://www.stylereboot.com/gallery/clear.gif).

In all you did a fantastic job with the design. It is very easy on the eyes and just looks great.

The noavatar and forum_old are supposed to be really light, if that looks too odd though i will change them.

I will also come up with some custom buttons

And ad for the clear.gif image... I will go fix that now.

- the menu text reflection should be removed .. navigation should always be clear (without a doubt) ... all you're doing is making your visitors look harder (more work for them)

breadcrumbs removed :down:
