kungfu i tried the link u'r givin it works for a mouse over effect

i want my navbar to be like this forum when u click on a menu i want it to change color for example lets say the color of my menu is black, if u click on it it will change color and it will become red and when u click on another menu the old one will change to black again and the one u clicked will be red and it will be the same as other navbar links *** well can we do this via ajax or a javascript???
