Custom Images Below x usergroup

Im looking for a modification that will allow me to put an image below an avatar on x usergroup or the ability to add them to certain peoples avatar.

Example: http://www.xboxusersgroup.com/forums...d.php?p=407522

Under peoples avatars there is images such as

and other images to represent they have contributed or won something....

How would this be done?

Thanks, hopefully someone can help as this would be a very good addition to my new forum.
