Suggestion: List all users who have installed a modification
As titled. Presumably only if you're the mod author.

Been asked countless times, apparently it's a privacy issue - allthough you can see it in the postbit if they have posted in your thread.
I see no reason (at some point) not to do what I have suggested in the past, which is to list install dates and version installed at the time (if available, the last internal update included storing the version when install is clicked). |

Surely if it's a privacy issue then it already is though? People are posting in the mod's thread and not explicitly asking to have it displayed that they clicked install, but it nevertheless still is. It's rather a small step up to a list, surely? If for "reasons" (ahem) the user doesn't want the author to know they're using their modification then they're unlikely to have their forum linked in their profile so there's nothing connecting the modification to their forum without them wanting it so.
I'm not disagreeing, I'm sure you're right. I'm just not seeing the significance in the difference. |
