Allow only female members access to a subforum

well the way I am doing it on my board is a little long but efficient

Create 2 new user groups: male, female or whatever u wana call them boy girl etc

Create the permissions for these as u would for a normal usergroup.

After this create the male and female boards and set their permission under forum -- permission to deny all.

Then all u have to do is click the male group for the male related forums and allow them acess
same for female

lastly set over them a group leader and set these groups to publically joinable

that way people can apply but must be approved
and as for approval, u could always set a limit that people are monitored for at least 50 posts to see how their behavior is.
