vB Media Player based on AnyMedia 3.5.x by Crist Chsu · **Released**: 12-03-2006

Update: A verry experienced and devoted programmer has joined the development team, he will work fulltime on the mod from now on (9 January 2007).

vBulletin Media Player for vBulletin 3.6.x

This mod is in Beta stage

Instalation instructions:

Upload all files from the /upload/ directory to the root of your forum, e.g. /forum/
Import the plugin from /import/

Upgrade instructions:

Upgrading from 1.0/1.1 to 1.2+
1. Uninstall the existing product
2. Import the new product from /import/
3. Upload all files within /upload/ to your forum root

I will complete this mod with all your wishes when they serve a big audience. Prefereably 100.000+ users.

Please let me know of features you want, video hosts wich should be supported and bugs you find!

Suggestions so far:

Support for adult video hosts like pornotube.com and several others
- Not yet implemented, being worked on.
Forum based media posting permissions suggested by
- Added in version 1.1.

can you PM me with a few that work with vbadvanced, and allow for youtube/google and custom also (meaning videos hosted on your own server/website)

im currently using the one created by this same author...the SEO Google/Youtube one and it works perfect for me, and i love it. Really a shame that it doesn't have a feature for custom video URLs (not just Youtube/Google) because it would run so perfect for me if it did.

anyways I use vbadvanced and this mod doesnt seem to work with vbadvanced...really ++++s with the login and messes shit up

I really liked the video gallery feature the last mod had. While being able to use more videos, this new mod doesn't have this excellent feature.

It looks like another dead mod from this coder anyway.

Can anyone tell me if they also get their PDF files not displaying. It used to work beautifully with the 3.5.4 version, but not with this one

Yourfilehost will work once this hack is fixed, because the files already have the .wmv or whatever you saved it in extension.
