You are *so* not alone on this one! This has got to be one of the most irritating aspects of being the admin on a large community forum. Feeling obligated to stay on top of all posts, this scrolling past entire quotes is driving me insane, and no matter how many times we "train" our 2k membership on how to quote correctly, they just don't listen.

I too was rather shocked that this isn't covered in the basic vB settings through admin. Once I figured out that I wasn't just missing something (I think), I've been going mad searching here for something that apparently doesn't exist yet.

I sincerely hope we hear an answer to this soon. I would love to get this issue off my "to do" list! I was glad to finally see someone else looking to solve this issue. If there's something I've missed, please forgive me, but I have searched in every way I know how.
