Database Question
Bare with me as I know little about databases accept to upload things to it and etc.
What I wish to know is if there is a way to create a database that will host off forums things. As in hosting pages off the forum for whatever I want. I've managed to do this on the database I already use but get lost trying to figure out how to get my new database to work for my new needs. Plus I don't wanna slow down my original database just in case. I use Godaddy (not by choice) for now and created a new database which of course won't allow me to sign in. Even after creating another ftp path with my new name no luck signing in. Any information/help is greatly appreciated. I appologize if this is hard to understand. I will do what I can to decode my ramblings if I need to. |

What "off-forum things" would you like to host off of your database? Articles, a portal, or something of that nature? If that is the case, I would take a look at a content management system.

Well let's put it this way. When I had the IBProArcade on my site it was slowing it down. Was hoping of a way to put it on a different database and try using it that way. But when I made/named my new database from ControlPanel I couldn't get into it through windows ftp. It's very complicated....
