Need hot links on calenday display

I'd like to be able to add hyperlinks on the calendar display so that the external url will open up in a new window. For instance, a user clicks on 'calendar' on the nav bar, then clicks on what would normally lead to an event description page, instead it is a hyperlink that opens up a web page in a new window.... say the football scores for that particular day... that are only available on other internet pages.

Has this been done?
