Perfect man, this helped resolve my issue. One less thing to fix. Much appreciated!

Thanks so much for this hack. I have it on v.3.6.4 and it is doing wonders for my forum!

Thanks Again.

I'm amazed that with so few changes required there is not an 'offical' release for newer versions yet.

When you post a vbookie event, the thread automatically shows "Vbookie:" in front of the event. Kind of like when you make a sticky it says "Sticky:"

How do you remove this? I went into phrases Manager and tried changing the $vbphrase['vbookie_vbookie'] phrase but that didnt work. Did anyone else remove it?

Admin > vBux > Mass Points Giveaway

there is a section to reset all vbBux and Bank totals either to 0 or posts counts.

There is also a section to give vbBux and Bank amounts as well.

I click everything YES
Then go back to see and it's still at NO

I'm running 3.6.4.
I did the plugin fix as per Paul's instructions.
I rebuilt the bitfields.
I did the template edit.

The only ones that can post an event are admins even though other usergroups are enabled. The event checkbox doesn't show up in the new thread for others.

Any suggestions?

Hi does anyone know how to adjust the Number of outcomes in a new event? (its set at 2 originally)
I know you can add more as you wish then press the update button.
But wondered if i could have the default as 3 in place of 2?

Cheers for any help or advice

Login to admincp,

scroll down to "plugins and products" and expand it

the click "plugin mamager"

in the list find "Product: Vbookie"

in that list find:

"vBookie: Redirect to vbookie.php when posting new Event"

to the right is a edit button...click it

in the middle of the edit page you will see: "Plugin PHP Code Use this field to enter the PHP code that you would like to be run."

replace what is in there with the following:

PHP Code:
if ($newpost['postvbookieevent'])

$vbulletin->url 'vbookie.php?' $vbulletin->session->vars['sessionurl'] . "t=$newpost[threadid]&vbookieeventoptions=$newpost[vbookieeventoptions]&do=newevent"
    eval(
print_standard_redirect('redirect_postthanks_moderate'truefalse));

save and you are done

hope this helps.

if you need more help pm
