Posts needing moderation are hard to find

I am talking about being able to tell whether there are post needing moderation without having to go to the modcp or the admincp. I usually don't go to the admincp unless there is something I need to do to the site....like updates or something.

I was thinking there was some way to see what posts needed attention without having to go to the cp.

Is there a mod that will do this? Like maybe a popup or a special announcement?
