if something is said they just edit the post.

I hate to say it, but i agree with that. Seem's to me, good or bad the post should stay as long as it isn't full of profanity and such. There are good and bad's to every site and hiding the bad from people and editing thread's or just deleting them because they may tarnish the person that edited the post, is a bit wrong.
I just witnessed such a thing the other day where an admin here wasn't happy with what a coder had done, deleted all of the reply's from the coder, but yet, never deleted his own response's to the coder himself. But this has been going on for a long time now, and i don't foresee any change's on this issue.....heck, i was banned from sitepoint for asking a mod whom changed my thread, why he did it........he just kept deleting my reply's, never deleting his reply, and then just banned me from the site..which is fine, sitepoint sucks anyways.....but vbulletin.org is pretty kewl and people should know the good and bad. If an admin change's a person's thread, they should remove their reason for doing so, and take it to pm's. Instead of trying to show whom is right or wrong.
I hope people that do read this thread, start doing a bit of homework when it come's to giving someone money to do work on your site. There are some very honest coder's on here and a kudo's should be given to those. Hopefully like i suggested earlier in this thread, vbulletin.org can open a forum for good coder's and bad coder's.......(something like that). The lounge just doesn't seem the place to share all of this, since people that are new to vbulletin software, aren't sure how it all work's and may miss this thread alltogether.....
