Since i run a sports forum i would like to know how do i give members/ new registrants the option to choose their team affiliation in there profile. And where it would show up like below their avatar. Thanks in advance

You would want to make a custom profile field and then add that field in the postbit template; either postbit or postbit_legacy... or both. You'd add it something like:

Team: $post[field13]

Just replace the number with what the actual field would be.
