Split Thread feature missing?
Hi
I have a v3.5.1 installation in care and moderators started to complain that since I updated from 3.x they no longer have the "Split Thread" feature in that drop down menu. I've looked over the web and in this forum but can't figure out how to fix. All I could say is that I found 2 commented lines in /install/vbulletin-style.xml: Line 10606: <!--<div><label for="ao_spt"><input type="radio" name="do" id="ao_spt" value="splitthread" />$vbphrase[split_thread]</label></div>--> Line 10864: <!--<option value="splitthread">$vbphrase[split_thread]</option>--> Why are they commented? Is this the problem maybe? In that case, maybe I need to reinstall it? Thank you. |

Use the check boxes in the right hand corner, then on the drop down list under the first post use Move Posts
It'll give you option to split them up (create a new thread) or even merge with another one. |

I tried that but it moves the whole thread, not just the boxes I checked
