Hi all,
I don't know if what I am about to say would make sense, but first a little history: I admin a large board which is still running 3.5.3 and have created a guide for the moderators on how to use the control panel and inline moderation using that version. The site owner will be upgrading in the future to the latest version of vbulletin but not right now. I wanted to get a heads up on creating an updated version of my moderator control panel guide for the newer version. So I purchased a license a while back but have yet to do anything with it. Note: I may at a later time use it for a discussion board for my website. The problem: Going through some posts I noticed one for "running vBulletin on my pc" (this post) which is perfect for me to test the new features and create the guide, but as I am about to download vbulletin for the first time it states under my license number to submit url before downloading. The question: So if I am only using it on my pc for test purposes now but plan on using it later on (really do not know for what yet), do I put in example.com as it suggests in the notes or do I put in my website address (which would probably be the future location) in the submit url field so I can download the software?
