like on here when you go to the site there is annocements and a poll and stuff like that

then it gives you the option to go to the forum

well my question is how can i add a front page like that to my vbulletin forum

i am using 3.6.1

You can go the vbadvanced route for that or search the hacks here for a similar solution.
