Admin can use the email even when members denied
Hi peeps
I have just tried to email a member from thier profile and i couldnt due to they had turned it off, I had to go into the admincp to email the member. Perhaps a hack that can restrict all members other than admin please? |

The point of the option is to restrict e-mails from administrators. There is already a seperate one to stop ordinary members.

Sorry, i was asuming that when members diable the email from members that even admin cannot retrieve it from their profile on the forum, admincp yes, but not the profile, im gonna check this out now....brb lol
I am right, if the member has set it so they dont receive emails from members, even the admin cannot retrieve thier email from their profile in the forum itself, you have to go into the admincp to get it!!! I have just tried it out now with my spare account! |
