User Rank images
I'm making a community/resource website for Air Force Security Forces. When the member creates an account, I want them to be able to choose from the different rank images I'm making for them that would show up next to their post. How would I go about doing that?
Sorry, if it sounds dumb my excuse is that I've never touched PHP or forums or anything of the sort. Absolutely new at this. Website is located at www.571gmrs.com/forum/index.php |

You want them to " Choose " which image they get?
If its free to anyone, Upload it to Avatar storage and set permissions. |

I dont really know the difference.. I want them to be able to have their own custom avatar. but at the same time in the post I want it to show what ACTUAL rank in the Air Force they are. Is there any way I could do that?

yeh theres a way, make a custom profile > drop down box (easiest), to start off with. youll have to upload images and place all the known icons of rank for the Military. It will take a little bit of coding.. but i'm sure its not hard. Hell, i'm not a coder but i think i could try this out. Let me know
actually, i just made my own little code that goes into the postbit feild and memberinfo for awards, and it works. So just give me the images and i'll make this code for you |
