backing up an old database question

my websites moving host to our GSP's upcoming clan hosting, now i have one issue.

if i install phpMyAdmin to backup and restore the database, is it just a case of ticking everything starting vb3_ and restoring that once i install the forum at the new site ?

its not an option to backup and move the entire database as its becoming a total pain at the moment, very slow and unresponsive, had a lot of upgrades and trial and errors installed such as vWar that i want all traces left in the old database.

so any input from you guys is more than welcome to help me do this 1st time round !
