Spellchecker
Hi,
Is VBspell the only spellchecker out there? I see it was only given 3 stars. Is there a better one out there that can be integrated in the text box so for example, if you type a bad word, it will underline it like in MS WORD and the likes? Also a thesaurus/dictionary feature would be handy Any feedback appreciated |

I think currently vbspell is the only one for 3.6, however, keep in mind that people don't always give appropriate feedback in regards to the star rating system. Most of the time people who are happy with a hack will not consider the star rating feedback while in contrast someone who is unhappy will be more likely to use it and provide a lower rating. I've seen hacks with a couple hundred downloads but it only took 1-2 unhappy installers (ones who couldn't figure out how - or had trouble installing the hack) to rate the hack with one or two stars.
As for what you are wanting that would most likely require ajax and it would probably be possible, but it would take some coding. You may want to post a request in one of the request forums for this. |

Thanks for the reply!
I know what you're saying about the ratings alright. The VB.org guys should change it so that a product has to have say, 20 submitted ratings and only then will a rating be shown. I'll look into the vbspell again anyway, the other features were just nice little features it could have but aren't necessary |
