League Table
Hi,
one of my users wants to display an Excel league table in a thread. Is there any solution to this? I have searched and as far as I can see, it's not possible to show an Excel file in a BB code or any other way. Can anyone suggest the best way to have a league table that will be changing over time. It would be very handy if positions could be determined by the score of each player overall which would then automatically put the highest scorer to the top rather than having to manually move them. Any feedback would be appreciated |

Hey stranger! Here are some ideas:
Have them enter CSV (comma seperated values) from excel (they can easily get this by saving as a CSV file). I don't think it would take anymore than an hour to convert the data in a plugin and output a nicely formatted table. One major drawback is you would have to re-export it to make any changes.
Ultimately this is the best way. But, you probably don't want to spend tens of thousands (lol) of dollars on this, or code it yourself. I won't even go into detail because I'm not quite sure what you want. |
