First impression is there's far to much blue. I would have opted for a 3 colour usage system and this alone would have possibly broke out the colours in a positive way giving it a better feel.
I would start by designing a new coloured gradient for the thead. This will break the style out a little, although there are many areas which could do with some re-colouring because of the amount of blue that was implemented. The logo doesn't look that great, the images are poorly cropped and hiding the edging with (I think it's the stroke feature) doesn't hide the jaggy edging. I would suggest that you use the pen tool to navigate the curved edges and place anchor points for the trickier parts (like the head, hands) and other areas to give the images a more crispier/sharper look. Can't place my finger on it but the gradients look very familar as do the collapse icons. Sorry it's not a great review though goodluck with your site. |

I kinda agree with Shelley. So you'll have to find a way to improve it a lot. Sorry and good luck!

Well I don't like sports or football but I thought it was set up well. Also the way you have the quick registration on the portal page, makes one tempted to register. And your "add to favourites" on the navbar is also a good feature. You eliminated a lot of things on the portal page which I think is nice, because it is uncluttered. It is easy to navigate through the site and the pages load quickly, so it looks good to me!
